In the beginning there was only chaos, the raw stuff of creation danced, building and destroying as is the nature of chaos. Then in a freak accident, order was created in the form of two gods, gods of supreme might and power. Together they created order in the formless mass and made a small plane of stability.
After their deed was done the twin gods turned against each other, as both was the opposite of the other. What one stood for the other opposed. So they battled for time unknown, it may of been countless aeons or a fraction of a second. All that is known is that in the end both gods had fallen, one burned for eternity and eventually became known as the sun, the other's lifeless body broke down into itself and became the world.
The formless energy from the twin gods setteled and became a number of lesser gods each embodying a diffrent aspect of their father god, the blood from their bodies became the army of angels who became servants of the newborn gods. For a time peace setteled in the realms and the gods turned to creating life.
After millennium of peace the gods began to harbor ill feelings towards each other. The pantheon split into two and war once again broke out in the heavens.
